National Technical Official Course (Canoe Sprint)

Dear Paddling Community,

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Canoe Sprint National Technical Official Course (Theory), which will be held on 21st and 22nd February 2017, from 1900-2200, at the NSA office Meeting Room.

During the Theory sessions, participants will be taught ICF competition rules and will engage in lively discussions of the application of those rules.

On completion of the theory lessons, participants are required to fulfil a minimum of 2 half days (or 1 full day) practical sessions at a canoe sprint championships organised by the SCF to be eligible for certification. Participants will be attached to and assessed by experienced NTOs at the championships.

On completion of the course (both theory and practical), participants are recognized as a Canoe Sprint National Technical Official (NTO) and will be awarded with a certificate and a race official polo shirt.

Course Fees: S$20
Theory Sessions: 21 & 22 Feb 2017 (Tue & Wed)
NSA Office Meeting Room
1900 – 2200 daily
Practical Sessions: 11 – 13 Mar 2017 (Sat – Mon)
MacRitchie Reservoir
0730 – 1800 daily
Participant to attend 2 half days (or 1 full day) of 3 days
