ABOUT ME

I started paddling when I was in Anglo-Chinese Junior College mainly because I wanted to try a sport after having been in the performing arts in secondary school. My passion for the sport grew as I started to enjoy the feeling of being on the water and being in nature. Kayaking allows me to see another side of Singapore—a view from the water, and the feeling of having your boat gliding on the water is pretty amazing.

Kayaking has been more than a sport to me. It has taught me skills like time management, discipline, the pursuit of excellence and doing my best in every area of my life, skills that I am sure will be essential in the future. I will continue to pursue excellence and work towards bettering my personal bests, to test my boundaries and push my limits.
