As a member, staff, or volunteer of the Singapore Canoe Federation (SCF), one has an obligation to act in the best interest of SCF. Accordingly, individuals must avoid situations where real, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest may arise, particularly where personal or family interests conflict with those of SCF.
This Conflict of Interest Policy sets out the principles, disclosure requirements, and procedures for identifying, declaring, and managing such conflicts. It is intended to safeguard the integrity, transparency, and accountability of SCF’s decision making processes, and to ensure that all actions are conducted in a fair and objective manner.
All members, staff, and volunteers are required to comply with this Policy and to promptly declare any conflict of interest as and when it arises.
