Precautionary Measures in response to 2019 Novel Coronavirus infection

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19

 

In view of the latest measures implemented by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce, the Singapore Canoe Federation will put in place further precautionary measures to ensure the health and well-being of all members of the canoeing community. These measures will take effect from 7 April 2020 until 4 May 2020, but may be extended if necessary.

 

SCF will implement the following action plans:

 

1. For Local Competitions

 

As per our previous announcement, all SCF events will be deferred until after 30 June 2020. For all competitions after 1 July 2020, we are monitoring the situation daily, and will update as soon as new information comes to hand.

 

2. For National Team Training at Water Sports Centre

 

All National Team training will be suspended from 7 April 2020 until 4 May 2020. 

 

3. Kayaking Activities at Paddle Lodge @ MacRitchie Reservoir, Paddle Lodge @ Pandan Reservoir & Kallang Water Sports Centre

 

All activities (including training, courses, programmes and public rental) will be suspended from 7 April 2020 until 4 May 2020, as Paddle Lodge @ MacRitchie Reservoir, Paddle Lodge @ Pandan Reservoir & Kallang Water Sports Centre will be closed.

 

4. Collection of Certificates at NSA Office

 

All collection of certificates will be suspended from 7 April 2020 until 4 May 2020 as the NSA Office will be closed.
